It was rather humid across central and eastern Kansas with late
afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s to mid-90s.

The risk for strong to severe thunderstorms this evening through
early tonight will be primarily across southern Iowa and Missouri
into northeast Oklahoma. The risk for severe storms will shift
into southern and western Kansas on Friday.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 60s and 70s. Highs on
Friday will range from the 80s in Iowa, Nebraska and far northern
Kansas, and from the 90s to around 100 degrees across the rest of
the heartland.
