...River Statement For The Big Nance Creek at Courtland...

Runoff from upcoming rainfall on Saturday night and Sunday is
expected to cause river levels to rise rapidly on the Big Nance
Creek|. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage, some
nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If additional rainfall
occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Big Nance Creek at Courtland.
* At 2:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 4.0 feet.
* Action stage is 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0 feet
  early Monday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
  Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Lowland flooding begins on the left bank of
  the river.

All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels. Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
