...River Statement For The Paint Rock River at Woodville...

Runoff from rainfall has caused river levels to rise rapidly on the
Paint Rocket River at Woodville. Although it is not expected to reach
flood stage, some nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur. If
additional rainfall occurs, the river could still reach Flood Stage.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 5:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.0 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 6.7 feet Monday
  morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Some minor overflow of lowlands begins.


All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
