.DISCUSSION...Marginal instability will allow for chances of
afternoon convection in the Sierra Nevada east of the fire this
afternoon. Afternoon thunderstorm chances in the Sierra Nevada
increase slightly by the weekend. Afternoon highs will continue
to hover a couple degrees above normal through Thursday. Friday
through early next week will experience a warming trend as high
pressure builds over the region.
