.DISCUSSION..
East to southeast winds will strengthen today as Tropical Cyclone
Beryl approaches the Texas coastline. Heavy rainfall, tropical
storms to hurricane force winds, storm surge and tornadoes will be
possible across portions of the area, especially tonight and Monday.
Currently, the greatest of these impacts are expected from around the
Matagorda Bay area to the San Luis Pass area, where Hurricane Warnings
are currently in effect.
