...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN YUMA COUNTY IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...NORTHERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN
KANSAS...WESTERN HITCHCOCK AND DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA THROUGH 930 PM MDT/1030 PM CDT/...

At 907 PM MDT/1007 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles south of Wauneta to
11 miles north of St. Francis to 11 miles northeast of Bonny
Reservoir. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  St. Francis around 1010 PM CDT.
  Benkelman around 910 PM MDT.
  Palisade around 1025 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT/200 AM
CDT/ for northeastern Colorado...northwestern Kansas...and
southwestern Nebraska.
