...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL GRAND COUNTY
THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 606 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles northwest of Moab, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Arches National Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 180 and 200.
 U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 139 and 157.
 Utah 128 between mile markers 12 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
