...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM MDT...

At 538 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles northwest of Monticello, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern San
Juan County.

This includes U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 75 and
79.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
