An upper level disturbance will bring isolated areas of showers
and thunderstorms today across the Montana North Dakota border
region. As we begin the upcoming week, an upper level ridge will
build across the Great Plains, leading to hot temperatures through
at least Wednesday.

Today, morning showers and thunderstorms across eastern Montana
push into North Dakota. In the afternoon, showers and
thunderstorms pop up along in northeastern Montana. Highs will be
in the 80s to low 90s.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms diminish through the night.
Lows will be in the low 50s along the Canadian border, and as high
as the low 60s in southeastern Montana.

Sunday, expect mostly clear skies with areas of haze. Highs will
be in the 80s in western North Dakota and in the upper 90s
elsewhere.
