...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT YAVAPAI AND COCONINO COUNTIES
THROUGH 645 PM MST...

At 556 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Page Springs, or 8 miles southwest of Sedona,
moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Verde Village, Red Rock State Park, Beaverhead Flat, Cottonwood
Airport, Uptown Sedona, Windmill Park, Oak Creek Vista Overlook,
Yavapai College - Sedona Center, Whitehorse Lake, Sycamore Canyon,
Garland Prairie, J.D. Dam Lake, Bridgeport, Sedona, Posse Grounds
Park, Parsons Spring, Clarkdale, Sedona Airport, Secret Mountain
Vista, and House Mountain Trail Lookout.

This includes the following highways...
 Route 66 between mile markers 192 and 193.
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 191 and 193.
 State Route 260 near mile marker 207.
 State Route 179 between mile markers 301 and 313.
 State Route 89A between mile markers 350 and 376, and between mile
markers 379 and 397.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
