...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT COCONINO COUNTY THROUGH 245 PM
MST...

At 210 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Navajo Point, or near Desert View Watchtower, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Desert View Watchtower, Tanner Trailhead South, Upton Point, Navajo
Point, and Tusayan Ruins.

This includes State Route 64 between mile markers 269 and 275.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
