...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GILA AND NAVAJO COUNTIES THROUGH
300 PM MST...

At 224 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Carrizo, or 20 miles southwest of Show Low, moving northwest at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cibecue Airport, Carrizo, Burke Mountain, Cibeque Peak, and Cedar
Creek.

This includes the following highways...
 State Route 73 between mile markers 311 and 316.
 Highway 60 between mile markers 312 and 327.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
