Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s.
.THURSDAY...Breezy. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 2 to
4 feet. Mostly sunny. Highs 85 to 95.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to
2 feet. Scattered thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower
70s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.REST OF TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Areas of smoke after midnight. Clear. Lows around 60.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Areas of smoke early in the morning. Sunny. Highs 75 to 85.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 1 to 2 feet after midnight. Partly cloudy in the
evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 60s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northeast winds around 10 mph early in the
evening becoming light, then becoming southeast around 10 mph
early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Clear. Lows in the
upper 50s.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Areas of smoke late in the morning. Mostly sunny. Highs in the
70s.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves
1 foot or less building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight. Areas of
smoke in the evening. Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming
mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
