  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Tuesday evening at 815 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY, JULY 15...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Cedar River near Conesville.

* WHEN...Until Monday, July 15.

* IMPACTS...At 14.2 feet, Water affects Lindle Avenue and Keokuk
  Avenue, both near Saulsbury Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river continues to rise.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.3
    feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
  Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river will remain between 11.4 and 11.8
    feet due to backwater effects from the Mississipi River.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.8
    feet Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
