...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Itasca County.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 826 PM CDT Saturday, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain
    due to thunderstorms. A trained spotter reported torrential
    rain fall rates of 1 inch in 20 minutes.  Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Alvwood, Oslund, Wirt, Inger, Lake Winnibigoshish, Rice Lake,
    Spring Lake, Bowstring, Marcell, Sand Lake, Max, Whitefish
    Lake, Bowstring Lake, Jessie Lake, Cut Foot Sioux Lake,
    Talmoon, North Star Lake and Spider Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
