A warm and muggy night is expected as showers and thunderstorms
exit northeastern Pennsylvania late this evening. Patchy fog is
expected to develop across portions of northern Pennsylvania where
heavy rainfall occurred earlier in the day. Low temperatures by
daybreak on Tuesday will range from the lower 60s across northern
Pennsylvania to the upper 70s in the Philadelphia metro area.

Tuesday will be another very warm to hot and humid day with
afternoon showers and potentially strong thunderstorms, mainly
during the afternoon and evening hours. Heat index value topping
100 degrees are again expected across south-central and
southeastern Pennsylvania.

A cold front will cross the region on Wednesday, accompanied by
more numerous showers and storms. The late week will see a return
to seasonable temperatures and lower humidity.
