...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT BERKELEY COUNTY UNTIL 345 PM
EDT...

At 319 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles south of Jamestown, and is stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Jamestown, Thomas Corner, Farewell Corner, Shulerville,
  Palmerville, Simmonsville, Newland, Beufordtown and Bethera.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
