...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT BEAUFORT...COLLETON
AND CHARLESTON COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM EDT...

At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 6
miles southwest of Bennetts Point, and are nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Beaufort, Port Royal, Edisto Beach, Bennetts Point, Ladys Island,
  Dale, Coosaw Island, Chisolm Point, Wiggins and Eddings Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
