...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 802 PM EDT, thunderstorms were located along a line extending from
10 nm south of Edisto Offshore Reef to 13 nm northeast of R7 Tower,
moving southeast at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

Thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Put on a
personal flotation device.

A Special Marine Warning may be needed. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before conditions deteriorate.
