Low clouds will break up mid morning with mostly sunny conditions through mid afternoon. Winds will be generally easterly today with a lean toward northeast this morning, then more southeast this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms may arrive as early as 2pm, but most likely by 4pm. Several rounds of thunderstorm are expected through around 10pm tonight. Golf ball hail and wind gusts to 75 mph are the main threats with storms today. Isolated tornado threat is there, but chances are low. Heavy rainfall is possible with locally over an inch of rain possible in a short period of time with the stronger thunderstorms. Showers taper off by around 2am. Strong RH recoveries tonight and fog is a possibility before sunrise Sunday morning. Chambers .TODAY...
