...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CLINTON...GRAND
ISLE...NORTHWESTERN CHITTENDEN AND NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES
THROUGH 1230 AM EDT...

At 1205 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Grand Isle, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Torrential rainfall may cause
         ponding in poor drainage areas.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Plattsburgh, Alburgh Village, Swanton, Grand Isle, St. Albans Town,
South Alburgh, Alburgh, Alburgh Dunes State Park, North Hero, Swanton
Village, Isle La Motte, Rouses Point, Highgate, Georgia, Milton,
South Hero, Wagner Point, Young Island, North Hero State Park, and
Wilcox Point.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 87 between mile markers 157 and 158.
 Interstate 89 between mile markers 123 and 129.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
