...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL ORANGE...CENTRAL
CALEDONIA AND CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 856 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Moretown, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Barre, St. Johnsbury, Montpelier, Lyndon, Calais, Plainfield, East
Montpelier, Marshfield Village, Berlin, Groton, Middlesex,
Marshfield, Cabot Village, Barre Town, Northfield Village, Woodbury,
Cabot, Northfield, Moretown, and Barre City.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 89 between mile markers 46 and 62.
 Interstate 91 between mile markers 119 and 121, and between mile
markers 123 and 142.
 Interstate 93 between mile markers 9 and 11.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
