Cool and dry weather across much of the Northern Plains States.
Temperatures will remain well below normal tonight, with a slight
warm up to follow for the weekend. Lows tonight will mainly be in
the 40s, with pockets of upper 30s possible across western North
Dakota. Highs this weekend are expected to be around 70 to 80.
Aside from a few showers across southern Manitoba, eastern North
Dakota and Minnesota this afternoon, dry weather is expected
through Saturday, with better chances for showers and
thunderstorms returning to southwest parts of the region on
Sunday.
