Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the
Northern Plains today, with a few severe storms possible across
southern and eastern parts of the region. Highs today will be near
to slightly below average, in the mid 70s to lower 80s.

Mostly dry weather is then expected Tuesday into Wednesday,
before medium chances for showers and storms return late Wednesday
into Thursday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on
both Wednesday and Thursday. A quick warmup is also expected
through the first half of the work week, with highs in the upper
80s to upper 90s on Wednesday. Temperatures stay warm on Thursday
before quickly cooling on Friday and then warming back up through
the weekend.
