...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Iowa...Minnesota...

  Mississippi River at Lansing affecting Houston, Allamakee, Vernon
  and Crawford Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and
  Grant Counties.

  Mississippi River at Winona affecting Trempealeau, Buffalo and
  Winona Counties.

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Iowa...Minnesota...

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Clayton, Allamakee, Grant
  and Crawford Counties.

  Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Houston, La Crosse and
  Vernon Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 13.2 feet
    Wednesday, July 17.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 20.1 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 13.8 feet.

    late this evening and continue falling to 10.3 feet

  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 12.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.6
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.6 feet on 04/04/1976.

  of Shore Acres Road. Many La Crosse River Marsh trails are under
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 13.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.3
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.1 feet on 03/12/1983.
