WESTERN HERTFORD...NORTHWESTERN GATES...AND SOUTHEASTERN SOUTHAMPTON
COUNTIES AND THE SOUTHWESTERN CITY OF SUFFOLK THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Boykins to 7 miles southwest of Newsoms to near
Conway. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Conway around 540 PM EDT.
  Murfreesboro and Chowan University around 550 PM EDT.
  Como around 555 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Pendleton, Menola,
Chowan Beach, Topsy, Mapleton, Dort, Union, Riddicksville, Sunbeam,
and Oak Villa.
