SOUTHEASTERN GATES AND NORTH CENTRAL CHOWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM
EDT...

At 339 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gatesville, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Hobbsville around 345 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Icaria, Gliden, Easons
Crossroads, Peach, Sign Pine, Whiteston, Nicanor, Sandy Cross,
Carter, and Hickory Crossroads.
