.SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA...
Short-lived surface high pressure ridge builds over the gulf
through Thursday while a front stalls over the southern
panhandle. The front moves back to the west Thursday night into
Friday as a new low moves NW through the eastern gulf.
