.DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds continue tonight through Denali Canyon and are
expected to increase behind a frontal passage around 6 PM this
evening. This frontal passage may be strong enough for an isolated
thunderstorm or at least convective showers in the vicinity, but
rain chances are lower away from the evening frontal passage. The
wind shift with this boundary is small from SSE to SSW, but given
the orientation of the canyon the westerly component may favor winds
lighter than currently forecast. Post-frontal SSWerly winds gradually
increase through midnight and continue for about 9 to 12 hours before
subsiding Monday morning.
