.DISCUSSION...

Upper level monsoon high is currently centered over northern NM
and southern CO this afternoon. Enough moisture remains in place
to combine with daytime heating to result in isolated thunderstorms
over the northwestern Jemez/Sierra Nacimiento this afternoon.

Latest weather models suggest thunderstorms over the northern Tusas
mountains east of Tierra Amarilla and Chama will be the slightly
stronger storms this afternoon, likely resulting in strong and
gusty northeast outflow winds to 35 mph that have the
potential to hit the fire location between 1600 to 1900 hours.

Monday`s weather set up has isolated showers and thunderstorms
developing over the Tusas mountains to the east late in the
afternoon, shifting westward toward the fire location between
1600 to 1900 hours. Gust to 35 mph from the northeast are possible.
