...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BUTTE AND
NORTHWESTERN MEADE COUNTIES THROUGH 215 PM MDT...

At 127 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Dears Ears Butte to 9 miles
northeast of Owl Butte to 12 miles east of Vale. Movement was east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Fairpoint and Mud Butte around 150 PM MDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central South Dakota.
