...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PONDERA...EASTERN
TETON...SOUTHWESTERN CHOUTEAU AND NORTHEASTERN CASCADE COUNTIES
THROUGH 1130 PM MDT...

At 1104 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Power to 11 miles northwest of
Black Eagle to 7 miles north of Belt. Movement was north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Outflow winds can reach as far as 30
         miles away from the parent storms.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Benton, Belt, Dutton, Brady, The Knees, Highwood, Power, Carter,
Floweree, Collins, Portage, and Malmstrom Afb.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
