...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MADISON
AND CENTRAL BEAVERHEAD COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 440 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles east of Jackson to 14 miles northeast
of Monida. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Dillon, Lima, Monida, Dell, Grant, Bannack Pass, Bannack, Snowline,
Beaverhead Rock State Park, Polaris, Clark Canyon, Bannack State
Park, and Monida Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Clark Canyon Reservior, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
