...Scattered showers and thunderstorms over portions of Central
Montana through this afternoon...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms from Pondera County south
through portions of Teton and Lewis and Clark Counties, as well as
southeast through Chouteau, Cascade, Meagher, Judith Basin, and
Fergus Counties, will continue through this afternoon.

Most of these storms will be relatively weak, causing brief
periods of rain showers and a few lightning strikes. However, some
of the stronger storms could produce wind gusts up to 40 mph,
with heavier rain showers of up to 0.25 inches in a half hour, as
well as hail mostly up to pea size.

If you are participating in outdoor activities on this holiday,
make sure to keep an eye to the sky, and have a plan in place to
seek shelter if a storm approaches. When thunder roars, head
indoors!
