.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Offshore buoys were reporting light SW winds with 1-2-ft seas and a
dominant period of 4 seconds late this morning. Observational trends
continue to support the moderate risk forecast today. Locally higher
surf and winds are possible in and around any thunderstorms today,
especially over the Panhandle beaches. Moderate risk for rip currents
is likely throughout the weekend with increased rip current risk early
next week.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
