...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HOUSTON...WEST
CENTRAL MILLER AND SOUTHWESTERN EARLY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT/530
PM CDT/...

At 558 PM EDT/458 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Ashford, or 8 miles northeast of Cottonwood, moving
west at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cottonwood, Dothan, Ashford, Cowarts, Avon, Gordon, Jakin, Saffold,
Pansey, Crosby, Grangeburg, Howards Mill, Enon, Lovetown, Wilson
Mill, Sealy Springs, Killarney, Ardilla, and Cedar Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
