...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY
NORTHWEST WINDS AND VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...

.DISCUSSION...A very dry airmass is in place across the fire area
this morning. Poor overnight RH recovery near 20% will allow values
to fall below 15% by late morning. Northwest winds across the area
this morning will strengthen by early afternoon, with the strongest
gusts along exposed upper ridgelines and through wind-aligned
drainages. This combination of gusty northwest winds and very low
RH will result in Red Flag conditions throughout the afternoon and
early evening. Winds will trend more northerly and diminish in speed
after sunset, with slightly improved but still very marginal RH
recovery overnight. Winds Monday will remain north to northwest but
trend substantially lighter, while the airmass remains warm and very
dry.
