...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Caribbean Waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the
  Coastal Waters of Saint Croix...
  Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...

At 631 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots, frequent lightning, and heavy
rainfall. These thunderstorms were located along a line about 20
miles south of Patillas, moving west at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
