NORTHWESTERN NATCHITOCHES...SOUTHEASTERN CADDO...SOUTHWESTERN
BIENVILLE AND SOUTHEASTERN BOSSIER PARISHES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 624 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Coushatta, or 20 miles east of Mansfield, moving
north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Coushatta, Ringgold, Martin, Goldonna, Hall Summit, Lucky, Ashland,
Castor, Edgefield, Jamestown, Carmel, Lake End, Grand Bayou, Hanna,
Loggy Bayou, Ninock, Crichton, Chestnut, Mc Dade, and Armistead.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
