.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will be
possible this afternoon across South Central Arkansas and
Northeast and North Central Louisiana. Higher chances for rain are
expected Friday, especially across Louisiana, as a cold front
moves across the region. The increased rain chances will continue
into Saturday mainly for locations along and south of Interstate
20. Dangerous hot and humid conditions will persist today, but the
rain and cloud cover should help to cool temperatures by several
degrees for Friday and into the weekend.
