This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

There is a 30 to 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening, mainly west of Highway 65. Lightning and
locally heavy rainfall are the primary concerns. Many locations
will remain dry today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Showers and non-severe thunderstorms will move into southeast
Kansas and southwest Missouri again Monday.

Remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl will move into areas southeast of
Interstate 44 Tuesday. This could lead to flooding if excessive
rainfall occurs.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
