...A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL RAINS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN
SMYTH AND SOUTHWESTERN GRAYSON COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM EDT...

At 202 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm over Mount
Rogers Summit, or 7 miles southwest of Sugar Grove, moving northeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Torrential rains and wind gusts up to 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Ponding of water on roads and localized low lying flooding
         is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Sugar Grove...
Troutdale...
Rugby...
Mount Rogers Summit...
and Grayson Highlands State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
