...A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL RAIN WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN SMYTH
AND WEST CENTRAL GRAYSON COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...

At 352 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with
torrential downpours near Chilhowie, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Torrential downpours and wind gusts up to 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rain will lead to ponding of water and localized
         flooding, especially along and south of I-81. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.
