...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL JOHNSON COUNTY THROUGH
215 PM MDT...

At 144 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Mayoworth, which is 19 miles north of Kaycee, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Johnson
County.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 252 and 277.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
