...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MOORE...SOUTHWESTERN
HARNETT...SOUTHEASTERN RANDOLPH...SOUTHWESTERN LEE AND SOUTHWESTERN
CHATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carthage, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Southern Pines, Carthage, Pinehurst, Whispering Pines,
Robbins, Vass, Cameron, Lemon Springs, and Gum Springs.
