Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
223 PM MDT Fri Jul 5 2024

.Discussion...

Spotty, critical fire weather conditions will exist, mainly along
the Continental Divide, east into the San Luis Valley this afternoon,
Saturday and again Sunday. Humidity values are forecast to be low,
however, winds will be marginal, with a few gusts nearing 25 mph
through the weekend. Warm temperatures are forecast on Saturday
before a cold front arrives Sunday with cooler air through next
week. This will also bring chances of showers and thunderstorm to
the area, across the Plains on Sunday, then focusing on the higher
terrain for next week.

Smoke dispersions will be excellent into this evening, becoming
poor overnight. A return to excellent conditions is forecast for
Saturday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
