Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A weak cold front will move across the far NW portions before dissipating early tonight. High pressure will persist just W of the area today through Sat night then merge with stronger high pressure to the W Sun. The high pressure area will then continue to build W and NW of the area Sun into Tue night, while a weak cold front approaches and then moves into the northern waters. The weak cold front will dissipate near the central waters by Mon. A low pressure trough will remain near the California coast today through Tue night.
