New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak stationary front or low
pressure trough will remain near the coast tonight through Wed.
The front will lift N into northern New England as a warm front
Wed night as the remnants of Beryl track NE over the eastern
Great Lakes. A trailing cold front will approach from the W Thu
and Thu night, stall and slowly weaken near the coast Fri into
Sat night, then will push offshore Sun and Sun night. Otherwise,
a high pressure ridge will persist to the SE of the area tonight
into Sat, and then will shift more SE of the region Sat night
into Sun.

5 ft.
.WED...S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
