.DISCUSSION...Hot again today, however with cloud cover and a few
showers arriving from southern California this morning recent
temperature and humidity trends have tilted slightly cooler along
with increasing humidity. With cloud cover forecast to mostly
persist today this should help at least a little bit at putting
the brakes on incoming solar heating during the hottest time of
the day. Forecast soundings show a fair amount of convective
inhibition i.e. stability in the atmosphere, which is a good sign
that`ll limit to potentially outright prevent thunderstorm development
today. Winds generally light southwest today perhaps variable at
times. Mostly sunny Sunday, highs climbing back to the mid 90s to
100.
