.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Hot and very dry conditions will continue
this week under a ridge of high pressure. Expect to see poor RH
recoveries on the midslopes and ridges due to strong thermal belts.
Winds will generally be light and terrain driven. Increased mid level
moisture on Wednesday may allow for isolated dry thunderstorms capable
of gusty and erratic winds.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Hot and very dry conditions will continue
this week under a ridge of high pressure. Expect to see poor RH
recoveries on the midslopes and ridges due to strong thermal belts.
Winds will generally be light and terrain driven. There is a slight
chance for a thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon in Glacier National Park.
The threat expands to all of northwest Montana Wednesday as mid level
moisture allows for isolated dry thunderstorms capable of gusty and
erratic winds.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Hot and very dry conditions
will continue this week under a ridge of high pressure. Expect to see
poor RH recoveries on the midslopes and ridges due to strong thermal
belts. Winds will generally be light and terrain driven. Increased mid
level moisture on Wednesday may allow for isolated dry thunderstorms
capable of gusty and erratic winds.
